Liked it. There are many great recipes in this book. There are breakfast recipes, seafood recipes, Poultry recipes, red meat recipes, soups, stews, chilies, pasta's and grains, vegetables, vegetarian recipes, snacks and desserts. This is the first time I heard of the freestyle approach and I loved how this book puts everything together. Very helpful.If you like cooking, eating, and losing weight, this is the book for you.FRAUDULENT USE OF POINTS A TOTAL SCAM I bought this without looking in the pages, if I had, I would have seen the recipes call for "a cup of heavy cream" or "4 TBS of butter" or "2 cups of sour cream", with the listed points value of the whole recipe 2 points or 4 points! Then, when I went to figure the points myself with the "nutritional" list provided, I see sugar is not listed on the recipe summary so the reader can't double check the points!One recipe is listed as "4 points" and just the cream and sour cream alone were 38 points!I hope no one else buys this book, it's a scam.No serving size listed, does not use low fat ingredients for most recipes The recipes look good, however I don't understand why it does not call for low fat options. For example, it lists ground beef for a chili recipe....ok....80/20? And this is weight watchers, why wouldn't it call for 99% fat free ground turkey? My second complaint would be that each recipe gives the number of servings, which is great, if only it said how much a single serving is. So the chili recipe (the one that uses "ground beef") has 8 servings, 8 points per serving, but I suppose you need to weigh out the total when it is done, and divide by 8. Serious oversight and annoying in my opinion. The recipes do look good, so I am hopeful I can make my own edits and write in the actual serving amount and make low fat substitutions for "ground beef" and "cream cheese" and "cheddar cheese" (insert eye roll here).
